Have I mentioned that the factory does not exactly have AC? I mean our dear gray lady is 107 years old and insulation wasn't really a thing back then so as summer officially dawns on us this week, we start to feel the burn just a bit more.
Last week, after the rains passed and that last kiss of cool touched our foreheads, we hunkered down for the summer. The first order of business was to execute an impossible photo deadline. So all hands showed up and as a team, we met the task.
To celebrate we had a few Mangonadas. Brought to us by our production manager, Kristen, this appears to be our drink of the summer. Do not digress from the recipe. We've all tried to substitute whatever was in the liquor cabinet but have decided that it is not the same.

Deep Eddy Mangonada
2oz Mango Nector
2oz Topo Chico or Happy Water
2oz Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka
Tajin Clasico Seasoning with Lime (rim garnish)
Lime (optional garnish)
Takes , serves 1.
Wet edge of serving glass slightly and press in Tajin to rim.
Add ice and equal parts mango nector, seltzer water, and Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka to shaker.
Pour into glass.
Garnish with lime and serve.
Shaker is optional. Drink is just as good poured.Tajin is preferred but any chili seasoning for fruit found in your market should work. Deep Eddy's is not optional.
