  • Terra Cotta Prayer Bead Burma Bells Bijou

This statement necklace is made of Vintage Brass Bells From Burma, Terra Cotta Prayer Beads with Buddha Image and Gold Luster, Vintage Indonesian Glass and Brass with Coral Mosaic.

Because of the rich combination of metals and gold luster, intricate design and soft blues, golds, browns and hints of red, this necklace feels like it belongs inside a monastery or mosque.

The star of this necklace is the antique, beautifully decorated brass bell trilogy. They have a nice patina and sound and they originate from Burma. They are separated by small Tibetan prayer beads.

The bells are approx. 24mm long and 20mm wide. They were cast in bronze and have a small round smooth stone for a clapper.

In concert are four large handcrafted blue mosaic glass beads from Indonesia. They are dark blue with white and brick eyes in a lattice-like pattern. The smaller Indonesian beads in front are brighter and are approx. 20mm. Wavy silver-plated spacers separate them. The larger Indonesian beads are approx. 32mm.

On each side of the blue mosaic beads are Tibetan terra-cotta prayer beads, which have the Buddha image and have been brushed with gold leaf.

Two gorgeous unusual handmade Tibetan solid brass beads inlaid with coral with an intricate brass design, provide a nice transition into the back of the necklace. They are large; approx. 22mm in size.

Beautiful Tibetan terra-cotta prayer beads with the Buddha image and gold luster continue in the back. They provide continuity into the back of the necklace.

    Clasp is handmade, solid-pounded brass.

Length of necklace is approx. 19 inches (includes clasp).
