FAQs

Can I come tour or shop at your factory?

The Stash Factory is not a retail location. We can accommodate customer visits only during special shopping events. If you would like to get on our mail list for special events, please contact Sales

Who builds your furniture and accessories?

Unless otherwise stated as vintage, Cheryl Schulke and her team of builders design and build all of our leather and textile goods. Paul Forde and his team designs and builds all of our furniture down to milling the trees and welding the bases.

Do you have a wholesale application?

Because we are a small run artisan shop, our wholesale is currently very focused. We work with a limited number of brick-and-mortar shops located in the United States who pursue a mission in alignment with our own supporting handmade, American-made goods.

If you have a shop that you believe aligns with our product and mission, please feel free to initiate consideration by sending us an email including the description of your location and your mission statement along with examples of other brands that you retail and photos of the interior and exterior of your shop.

When can I expect to receive my order?

Most items on our website are made-to-order which means that we begin building as soon as we receive your order. Delivery times are available under the Delivery tab for each item description and vary based on our current wait list and production resources.

The timeframe required for the build is indicated within the description of each item. A few items are in stock and those will ship out within 2 business days of your order. You can choose the shipping time frame you prefer at time of purchase. If you need your item to arrive by a certain date, please email us with your order number and request as soon as possible.

Can I rush shipping?

Rush shipping can be arranged if an item is in stock. Just make a note in the checkout process and select expedited shipping.

Can I order a custom bag?

Due to our current work volume, we no longer accept custom projects.

Do you manufacture for other companies?

We take on limited run manufacture for like-minded companies. Email us your inquiry.

What is your latest news?

Read our Digest and follow our adventures in real time via Facebook and Instagram.

Where can I find your latest products?

This website as well as our Facebook and Instagram pages are the best places to follow what bags and furniture we are currently building.

What is your event schedule?

We are currently showing merchandise by appointment only.

When is the next concert?

Watch our Facebook page and Digest for event announcements.

Do you offer an artist-in-residence program?

Our artist-in-residence program is not accepting new applications. If you would like to stay in the loop on future developments, email me your curriculum vitae and we will put you on our mail list.

Will you provide a charitable donation to my auction?

We set a budget each year for charitable causes. If you would like your organization to be considered, please submit your application to us no later that December 31 of the calendar year prior to the auction.

Company

Building all of our goods with our own hands in America from the very beginning. Stash started in the home studio of Cheryl Schulke AKA Stash more than 5 years ago. And for five years just the two hands of a single driven creative designed and built every single product that left the studio. Moved out to the historic Haynes factory in 2011. Then in 2012, began a program to apprentice new artisan builders into the leather trade. A true grass-roots business that embraces mindful production over mass production.

Mission

Our collective mission is to create a nurturing, engaging, positive collaborative environment in which participants embrace mindful production over mass production and reinstate history, legacy, and value to goods produced.

Some times things take a little longer here. Stash says, "I think of it not as slow given the pace we operate at but as deliberate given the quantity and quality undertaken."

Owners

Stash Co is co-owned by Cheryl Schulke and Paul Forde of Houston.
