Care

Detergent: Use a mild, color-safe detergent without any bleaching agents or harsh chemicals. Avoid using bleach or detergents that contain bleach, as they can fade the indigo color.

Soaking: Avoid soaking your indigo-dyed clothing for extended periods, as it may cause excessive color loss. If necessary, a brief soak in cold water can help remove any stains or dirt.

Gentle Handling: When washing, avoid vigorous rubbing or twisting of the fabric, as this can cause color fading or distortion. Gently hand wash or use a delicate cycle, and always follow the garment's care label instructions.

Drying: After washing, gently squeeze out excess water without wringing the fabric. To prevent color transfer, it's best to air dry your indigo-dyed clothing in a shaded area away from direct sunlight. Avoid using a dryer unless the care label explicitly states that it is safe to do so.

Ironing: If ironing is necessary, use a low to medium heat setting and iron the garment inside out to protect the indigo dye. Avoid direct contact between the iron and the fabric for extended periods.
