Care

Recommended hand wash only. Washing: We recommend washing your indigo-dyed garments separately, especially for the first few washes, as there may be some residual color bleeding. Hand washing or using a gentle machine wash cycle with cold water is ideal.

Detergent: Use a mild, color-safe detergent without any bleaching agents or harsh chemicals. Avoid using bleach or detergents that contain bleach, as they can fade the indigo color.

Soaking: Avoid soaking your indigo-dyed clothing for extended periods, as it may cause excessive color loss. If necessary, a brief soak in cold water can help remove any stains or dirt.

Gentle Handling: When washing, avoid vigorous rubbing or twisting of the fabric, as this can cause color fading or distortion. Gently hand wash or use a delicate cycle, and always follow the garment's care label instructions.

Drying: After washing, gently squeeze out excess water without wringing the fabric. To prevent color transfer, it's best to air dry your indigo-dyed clothing in a shaded area away from direct sunlight. Avoid using a dryer unless the care label explicitly states that it is safe to do so.

Ironing: If ironing is necessary, use a low to medium heat setting and iron the garment inside out to protect the indigo dye. Avoid direct contact between the iron and the fabric for extended periods.

Storage: When storing your indigo-dyed clothing, ensure they are clean and completely dry. It's advisable to fold them rather than hanging to minimize any stretching or distortion. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading.

Please note that due to the nature of indigo dye, slight color variations and fading over time are natural and contribute to the unique character of the garment.
