Tensira’s indigo designs are unique, obtained by the traditional vegetal indigo dye that has been passed on from generation to generation in Africa. The patterns are done by artisans with the tie and dye method where each dot is separately attached before dying and detached after dying.
Tensira’s community of skilled artisans produce Tensira’s hand-dyed and handwoven pieces, creating modern designs with traditional expertise.
